How often will we visit?
We offer the choice of every 6 or 12 weekly visits. However, we ask for some flexibility on this time scales due to rain and other factors.

Bad Weather
We will still work in light rain or short showers. Our promise to you is that the results will still be the same. If rain is heavy and constant we will not clean your windows. Your clean will carry over to the next working day.

Turning us away
We will try to be as reliable as we can for you, but we also appreciate the customer being reliable. We will make time and space in our schedule available for you. On the day of the clean it is too late for us to replace you’re clean with another. We reserve the right if turning us away at the door or cancelling on the day with our office, to charge you the full price expected and/or cancel any ongoing service with us.

Ending our services
If for one reason or another you should wish to cancel our services, you have the right to do so at any time. This can be done by telephone on 07918 146407 or by email to info@hugheswindowcleaning.co.uk.

Complaints procedure

We will always try to provide you with the best possible service every time we clean your windows. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our work, you must contact us within 24 hours of the clean. We will then return the next working day to re clean your windows for free. Please note that complaints made after 24 hours may not be re cleaned.

Confidentiality
All customer information is kept on a confidential database and is not discussed or shared with any individual or company, as is required under the terms and conditions of the data protection act.

Payment

Our preferred option is via bank transfer. However, we do accept cash & cheques and would ask that all payments are made within 3 working days of the clean.

Our Methods

Reach and Wash Window Cleaning

We use a reach and wash system that is manufactured by Ionic Systems Ltd to access and clean all of your windows. This method uses only purified water and no chemicals or detergents making it 100% safe for people, plants, pets, children and the environment it is used in. The water is purified and transported with us in our vehicles. We will arrive with all the equipment we need to carry out this work. Our purified water is pumped from the van along hose lines and up telescopic poles, which we use to scrub dirt from your frames, sills and glass. All we ask is that access around your property is available and that all your windows and doors are closed. Once cleaned, surfaces are left to dry naturally as is normal in this method, because the water is so pure it dries leaving no marks at all.

We are able to clean to a height of 45ft. We are only able to clean along a clear line of sight, some angles or high recessed surfaces my not be possible to clean.

Traditional squeegees and ladder

Sometimes, it is still appropriate to use traditional methods in modern day window cleaning. Sometimes, we need to access low-level flat roofs in order to carry out work. We will use a ladder to gain this access.

Insurance

Our company and public liability insurance is arranged through “Alexander Swan” a specialist for window cleaning companies using the Reach and Wash System, our level of cover for public liability is £2 million.
